There are wonderful advantages to being part of a large and growing congregation—but in a congregation of our size it may seem difficult to form warm, lasting friendships. Please check out the many opportunities to participate and expand your experiences into the your own “Family of Faith.”
Faithful Night Owls
The Faithful Night Owls meets on the third Friday of each month to share a fellowship activity. They may meet at a member’s home or attend a local show. This group is open to those young at heart, but over 40 years old.
Senior Singles Group
This growing group (age 50+) meets periodically for varied activities ranging from lunch, baseball, or board games – whatever the group decides. Their monthly meeting is the 3rd Saturday of each month at 5:30 PM. They also meet twice monthly to play bridge.
Dinners for 7 or 8
Adults of every age, members and non-members, singles and couples, meet in homes for dinner. Seven or eight people are assigned for dinner at a designated home. The host/hostess provides the main dish and beverage while guests bring the vegetable, salad and bread, and dessert. The meal may be as formal or informal as the host/hostess chooses.
Event Coordination Committee
This committee coordinates special one-time events as well as weekly or monthly dinners and receptions.
Friendly Visitors provide fellowship and compassion to our members who may be home bound, in the hospital, in assisted living, or perhaps just in need of a friendly call, card, or visit. If you have time to make contact with someone twice a month, you are invited to volunteer for this important pastoral care ministry.
Card Group & Table Games
If you like to play bridge, euchre, hand and foot, Yahtzee, or another game, come join this group that meets the second and fourth Friday of each month at 1:30 pm in the alcove. Everyone welcome. No need to bring a partner, we play for fun.
Meets the second Tuesday of every month at 1:30 pm in Fellowship Hall.
Mexican Train Dominoes
Meets the first and fourth Saturday of every month at 7:00 pm in Fellowship Hall.
This committee helps visitors become members and members become a part of the life of the church.
Hospitality team members are available to welcome members and guests prior to and following each worship service, answer your questions about Faith church, assist with tours, offer directions, and supply information about Faith’s many ministries and activities.
